Page 1: Great Expectations By GraphicDesign&
“Page 1: Great Expectations is an unusual typographic experiment designed to explore the relationship between graphic design, typography and the reading of a page.”
All the designer’s were given the same brief, same text, it gave the designers a chance to embrace or challenge the conventions of book design. Its a rather nice project, I’d love to see it upclose. It shows how many different ways you can interpret a piece of text, and how it can be perceived.

Vintage Cafe Signs
Got a bit of design work to do from my moms friends sister in law (don’t you love how when people mention they need something like a leaflet and your mom pipes up with oh Kayleigh can do that…) It makes a change from not actually having a brief to do, its only a logo and leaflet. But I really love old vintage signage so thats the direction I’m probably going to go for. Just searched on flickr for vintage cafe signs and you get ALOT of awesome photos of everything from neon signage to hand painted, lovely stuff!
