Work in progress of #ACTA poster in Illustrator I did a quick rough in biro of the circles and eye. The eyes to represent that the internet will be monitored similarly to how we are with cctv and the c’s sort of like the copyright symbol since thats apparently what its all about which I think is bullshit, its all a cover up for them to surpress us all even more, but thats my opinion. I don’t know if I’ll keep it simple and just use the eye act symbol thing I have going on or the stop acta design to the right. We’ll see where it goes…

Just a few of the posters I actually saved when browsing through a flickr group I posted about earlier. Its a collection of vintage advertising posters and there are so many good ones on there. Very inspiring stuff.

A few gigposters I was liking when I was browsing gigposters.com just now. I really like the illustration on the first one. But the Pixies one if probably my favourite…

Nice bit of design from WBYK. They’re a pretty epic design group from Australia so have a look on their site and get inspired by all their awesomeness!

Just saw this poster design when looking at the top lists on gigposters.com. Its quite a simple design but the illustration of the girls quite nice, I like how the day of the dead sugar skull is more muted, the colours work really well together the blue and peachy orange tone.

Just saw this poster design by the man who’s name is in bold. I quite like it caught my eye straight away, striking type and use of imagery and definately great use of colour, sepia (kind of) and orange just looks immense.
